8 Days Complete Kunming Tours

Day 1: Arrive at Kunming
Upon arrival, you can visit Grand View Park which has the popular Sun Ran Wang, Qing Dynasty poet’s handwriting. Then, visit to Yuan Tong Temple, which is built in Tang Dynasty and rebuild in the Yuen Dynasty.

Day 2: Kunming to JiuXiang to Stone Forest
After breakfast, depart for JuiXiang, a newly boosted and comprehensive scenic area with karst caves. The nature humane scenery and the folklore of Yi and Hui people found outside the caves add zest to visitors’ interest. Many visitors sighed with a emotion that “it will be a regret if comes to Yunnan without paying a visit to JiuXiang”. And finally, you can stay overnight at Stone Forest.

Day 3: Stone Forest to Kunming
Visit Stone Forest which is one of the national scenic resorts of Yunnan and typical karst formation characterized by hundreds of stone peaks jutting out from the ground with majestic grandeur and in different posses and various shapes.

In the afternoon, return back to Kunming. Tour visit to West Mountain. Rising on the Western Shore of Dianchi Lake, on the southwestern outskirts to Kunming, the mountain is a large nature reserve with many places of interest, such as the Long Men (Dragon Gate) is accessible by a stairway carved out off the cliff, which are carved in Qing Dynasty.

Day 4: Kunming to Dali
In the morning, proceed to Dali. Upon arrival, visit to the Old Generation House of Yan. Enjoy the traditional dance and tea by Bai Minority nationality. Follow by visit to the ErHai Park and have a great view of the famous ChongSheng Pagodas. You can also tour the Ancient City, YangRen Street and Dali Museum.

Day 5: Dali to Lijiang
After breakfast, visit to Tian Long Ba Bu Movie Studio. Then, depart to Lijiang – it is characterized by magnificent mountain, clear water and beautiful landscape. Followed visit to SifangJie (Square Street), the center of the city from which small lanes radiate like a web. Finally, visit of the world heritage – Old Suhe Town.

Day 6: Lijiang to Dali
Today, enjoy the spectacular view of the Yulong Mountain. It is cover with snow all year round. Continue on to YushuiZhai and BaishuiHe – is the limpid water. The source of the river is the melting snow on the snow mountain. GanhanZi Grassland – it is situated on the eastern scope of Yulong Mountain, an ideal spot to view the mountain. On returning to Dali, stop by ShizhaiZi.

Day 7: Dali to Kunming
After breakfast, proceed back to Kunming. Upon arrival, visit Flower Market and Jin Ma Bi Ji Fang for shopping.

Day 8: Depart from Kunming
Morning, before depart home, go for shopping again at LuoSiWan Bazaar.
