Lijiang China

Lijiang has served as a center of economics and cultural exchanges between people of the Tibetan, Han, Bai and Naxi ethnic group since the ancient time.

Lijiang Old Town

It is also known as Dayan Town. Built by the late Song and early Yuan Dynasty, it has a history of 800 years. The ancient town is well preserved and in 1997, it was included in the list of UNESCO’s World Heritage Site.

King Mu’s Mansion

It is the residence of the ruling Mu family for 500 years after the era of Kublai Khan (Yuan Dynasty). The main pavilion was for holding official business whilst in separate buildings are the family’s living quarters, temple, and school building.

Yuquan Park (Jade Spring Park)

Also known as Black Dragon Pond. As the water here is lucid green color, it gained antoher name Jade Spring Park. There are many distinctive and ravishing sites in the park.

Baisha Mural

It is located in the Baisha Village on the plain north of Lijiang. The mural was made from 1385 to 1619, employing the eclectic artist energies of Chinese Taoist, Tibetan and Naxi Buddhists and local Dongba shamans. This rich fusion had resulted in a tremendously powerful art, heavy in spirit and awe-inspiring in its presentation of the mystical worlds.

Yulong Snow Mountain

Yulong Snow Mountain is located 15km north of the county seat of Lijiang, it is a notional-level scenic area. It has 13 peaks; the main one is 5596m above sea-level. It is a snow-capped mountain, and the southernmost mountain with snow capped all year round in the Northern Hemisphere.
