Question: When is the best time to buy Air Fare tickets for March? I’m planning a trip out to Austin, TX for a Music Conference that goes from March 15th to March 21st. I’m planning to arrive there on March 14th & plan to leave (or get back here to NYC) on March 21st (I’m not planning to go to the last event of the conference.). I’ve checked Priceline, Travelocity, etc. Most of them have expensive prices like $ 689 round trip on either Priceline or Travelocity (I don’t remember which one.). Although, when I went to Kayak.com I saw $ 220 Airfare & couldn’t believe what I was seeing…
