Question: What are the best and cheapest all inclusive vacations?
Just did Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and LOVED it! We want to end the summer with a bang so we’ve decided to go on “another” vacation.

We are looking for suggestions on International destinations that are All-Inclusive but cannot afford something really expensive since Punta Cana cut into funds.

We would be leaving from Boston or Providence RI and are open to any dates (Retired poor folk looking for some fun!)

All suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Philippines! We got everything except snow. Check it out!

We’re sorry about the incident… we’re ashamed of it. it’s shameful that that person is a Filipino. Security standards will be raised surely, by now.

Travel during the holidays (including the two weeks around Christmas/New Years) tends to be really expensive. I doubt that packages get cheaper if you go last minute, because it’s a very popular time to travel.

Stay away from the internet sites. These are booking agents. Contact your local travel agent and tell them the areas you are thinking about and give them a dollar amount you are willing to spend. They have all the information on everyone. They will tell you what is available in those areas and you can use the internet to get more information on the vacations that are in your budget.
It does not cost any more to use a travel agent than to go direct to the property and you will get someone to represent you locally that will look after your booking. This is also time saving for you as they are kowledgable about different clubs and can make recommendations.

If you want a SUPER cheap site – use this one – they have All Inclusive Resort packages for TWO adults for just $ 199. Use it in Bahamas or Mexico. I used the Bahamas one & we stayed at Grand Bahamas island for just $ 199 for BOTH of us, & paid a small room tax each night but that’s it.

It was incredible! We bought this package because it was so cheap not really knowing what to expect but it turns out these prices are originally meant for large companies to book executive travel deals in bulk – but as we found out, individuals can buy these packages for the same price!

ENJOY!!!! Maybe we’ll see you there this year, haha! I put the link below for Bahamas but just click around the site to see the Mexico option.

I agree with stacylovesdan, there is no better deal than corporate travel rates. Kayak & those other sites have good INFO but for rock bottom rates you just cannot beat the bulk power of big company pricing.

I have used the same broker before for their 5 day Hawaii package & had a great time. Good luck whatever direction you choose!

thailand is really affordable, but can be a little rigid if you’re just looking to kick back and have fun. i second the philippines. Yeah, they’ve had some bad press recently with that security guard going postal, but another island you could check out is Boracay or Cebu. Boracay is a very touristy destination and has lots of nice beaches. Cebu City is another metropolis- similar to Manila, but far more relaxed and safer. Currently, the philippine peso is about 47p to every $ 1. Which is very affordable. You can stay in a 4 or 5 star hotel for 22 dollars a night, get an hour long massage for 5 dollars, and visit amazing sights like The Chocolate Hills (in Bohol) or the Taoist Temple in Cebu at hardly any expense. At a place like the Philippines, you can stay easily for 3 weeks and not spend more than 2,500 – plane ticket included. It’s great, I’ve got some relatives on my fathers side there, and plus, opposed to other parts of asia where all you eat is noodles and rice- to the point where you get sick of it, the American and Spanish influences make cuisine varied and a lot more palatable if you’re staying for a long time.

For holidays it is not a good idea to wait too long since most people will have already made reservation, so the only thing you will get is # Nothing # Especially for New Year everything is always packed and early.

  • Dela Ken

No ,i recommend you not to wait long for bookings. i m sure the last minute bookings are always very very costly or u end up with Houseful Board..!

I’ve been on to Apple Vacations lately. They were actually voted number one for Mexican and Carribean travel for the last three years.

They do a pretty good job of listing hotels as well as detailing their reviews and they give you a lot of pictures to look at and options to review.

    Good luck!
